Mushroom and ham frittata

This lovely Mushroom and Ham Frittata is a great flavoursome way to start your day. Other options include using potatoes and bacon for a lovely breakfast mix.


  • 80g sliced mushrooms (I used white button mushrooms)
  • 60g Deli leg ham, sliced
  • oil for frying (I used olive oil)
  • 80g chestnut mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 eggs whisked


  1. Heat a frypan on medium high heat, add oil and saute mushrooms until soft. Add ham and cook for a further minute. Season with a pinch of salt and cracked black pepper.
  2. Add mushrooms and ham to whisked eggs in seperate bowl. mix to coat all ingredients. Return ingredients to frypan (may need to add a drizzle of olive oil) cook for 2 – 3 minutes then flip and cook for another minute or two depending on how you like your eggs.
