One Week Challenge: Day Three

Welcome to my One Week Challenge: Day Three and I am tracking a long pretty well. My goal was to lose 1kg, however at this stage I think I have been a bit difficult in my diet and fallen into a caloric deficit.

Seeing I have been pretty good for the first two days, today I decided to make up for some calories.

Who can go past crepes? They are definitely a favourite of mine, thinner than a traditional pancake and don’t leave you feeling so bloated. Also, less calories which means you can add more toppings and the kids love them!

leftovers are the best!

The batch of Chicken and Veggie soup I made last night had plenty of left overs so I heated up another bowl, it’s also great on toast and saves time.Win! Win!

Roast Dinner

It’s Monday and not traditionally the time to make a roast however I am on parental leave and after the last two days I have a graving for something that not only smells great but tastes awesome. Lamb Roast!

I have to be upfront with you all here, I’m on parental leave so I get a bit of extra time. Under the “excuse” of giving Ash a break from me and Tahlia and being in lock down due to COVID-19. There aren’t many options. So, another awesome 6km slow pace bike ride. Generally on my own I can burn around 400 calories in 32 minutes (10km) but with Lil Miss 3 on the back I also get the added benefit of resistance due to the added weight on the back.

Today on my One Week challenge: Day Three was a little harder as I have fallen into a Caloric Deficit and felt my tank running low after about 5kms. Tonight’s dinner was a great refuel.

I supplemented my bike ride with a Biceps and Shoulders routine which can be found on the main menu.

I was quite hungry after my ride and ate a banana, 1 row of Cadbury hazelnut chocolate to get my sugars back up.
