Day One of my One week challenge

Day 1 of my week challenge

Welcome to day one of my weekly weight loss journey where I am to lose just 1kg, please note there results may very some may lose more weight. Make sure you do what fits you and your lifestyle.

So lets start off day one with a weigh in, at current I am sitting at 92.7kgs (don’t judge it’s iso) So how did today go?

This morning I started day one with a dad request, Little Miss 3 requested french toast and who can say no to french toast? I had two slices of french toast and I made a side of 1 scrambled egg to go on top.

Lunch for day one was a little outside of what I would normally have eaten but since having kids I haven’t been so strict. Who can be when little ones love chips and doughnuts. Today though I put on party pies for Lil Miss 3 and cooked myself an adult sized pie. Unfortunately there is no image of the pie, I ate it too quick.

Seeing it was day one I didn’t know what to cook so I threw it to the audience and the verdict was in. Ash wanted rissoles. Who am I to pass up an Aussie favourite. I teamed the rissoles up with steamed pumpkin and lemon and oregano potatos to go with the bite of a great rissole.

Day one being a Saturday it made it easier to get out, I also need to get Lil Miss 3 out as lock down from COVID-19 restrictions have been challenging so we went for a 7km bike ride. With Lil Miss 3 on the back I rode slow at 13.7km average for 30 minutes burning an estimate of 260 calories.

Day one was also a great day to restart my four day workout routine and I trained chest and tris.

Oh yeah, you can have snacks! Today I am trying to be good but I couldn’t go past the Original corn chips. I grabbed a large handful and hid in shame as I ate them. (not really, they are awesome)

After my bike ride I ate four mild twiggy sticks and a banana, as I write this blog, I am also eating a large handful of almonds.

The verdict

Day one and I am feeling good, I have gotten off to a good start, being a weekend it has given me the opportunity to exercise during the day. However I think I have gone a little too hard on my diet and will lose more than 1kg this week.
