One Week Challenge: Day Six

one week challenge:day six

Welcome to my One Week Challenge: Day Six and I have to admit I am glad I am almost through it. Not that I have changed much but I have been working to ensure I don’t fail.

So how did today go?

Breakfast

We started today off with a big fat greasy breakfast with a wonderful big breakfast. Just like the ones from the shop. There are a lot of ways to diet and it’s about finding the one that fits you.

Lunch

After having a heavy breakfast we were still quite full so opted for a few slices of cacciatore salami (home made) and a coffee. Tahlia had a lovely garden salad.

Dinner

Steak and chips

For dinner tonight I opted for a medium rare steak with garlic and rosemary butter sauce, was totally worth the calories! great boost to my iron levels and a lot of great amino acids that my body needs to recover from training.

Dessert

Oh yeah! who can’t go past a wonderful sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream and a long black! Life is too short to miss out on the finer things.

Exercise

Today was just too beautiful of a day to stay indoors so we headed out for a quick 6km ride along the Kororoit creek to soak up the warm rays of sunshine. I was also feeling a little tired so decided to not train tonight and have a rest.

I hope you enjoyed our One Week Challenge: Day Six, if you have any questions feel free to reach out. I haven’t got a recipe for today’s meal as it’s stock standard fry up. If you want to know how I make the Garlic and Rosemary butter sauce feel free to get in touch.
